Aeropuerto Tenerife Sur Reina Sofía (TFS)

There is a perfect and fast connection between the airport Reina Sofia and the different cities and tourist resorts of the island. It is located in the South of Tenerife and only 20 minutes away by car, taxi or bus (line 111, every 30 minutes), from Costa Adeje, 50 minutes from the island's capital, Santa Cruz, and an hour  from Puerto de la Cruz in the North.

 

Reina Sofía Airport belongs to Aena Aeropuertos which is a leading company thanks to its experience, capacity and team of airport service management professionals. They offer their customers and users efficient integrated services of the best possible quality in order to make their transit through their airports a pleasant experience.

All departures traffic – including national, European Community and international – comes in through the ground floor of the passenger terminal. You can access it from the taxi rank and the public bus service or from the different airport car parks. Route 343 runs directly between Tenerife Norte and Tenerife Sur Airports nonstop in just 50 minutes.

The car park at Tenerife Sur Airport is conveniently located a few metres from the terminal, which can be reached easily in just a few minutes.

Reina Sofia Airport also has the following services: Car Rental (Avis, Hertz, Gold Car, Auto Reisen, Cicar and Europcar), restaurants and cafeterias, VIP Lounge, banks, chapels, police, press center, Post Office, Lost and Found, Baggage wrapping machine, Children's play area, service and service to people with reduced mobility.

Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte Los Rodeos (TFN)

It is located in the northeast side of Tenerife, near by the UNESCO's World Heritage City of La Laguna and only one hour by car, taxi or bus, from Costa Adeje, 5 minutes to the island's capital, Santa Cruz, and 15 minutes to Puerto de la Cruz in the North.

 

The terminal building provides travellers awaiting flights with a bright, cosy space from which to enjoy the magnificent local scenery, both airside and landside, plus the charming interior seating areas bathed in light.

While awaiting your flights, passengers can enjoy six different catering areas and the shopping area located on the top floor, which currently comprises six shops and a pharmacy. On the ground floor there is a press and tobacco shop and a lottery office.

The airport has several services for users such as: banks, information points in the airport, lost luggage, Lost and Found, Business centre,  ATMs, shops and duty free, chemist, car rental, VIP Lounge, newsagents selling Spanish and international newspapers and magazines, and books in different languages, medical service, etc.

The Tenerife North Airport Los Rodeos is well connected to Costa Adeje and the Tenerife South Airport Reina Sofía, either by car (motorway TF-1) or by bus with the Public Transport Company TITSA, line 343. 

Transportes Interurbanos de Tenerife (TITSA)

TITSA buses run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; to ensure that buses reach travelers, there around 3,700 bus stops dotted all over the island. The two airports on the island are well connected by bus, with different lines and various frequencies.

 

If you want to use public transport to visit the island, the company offers you a special discount card for your journeys. It is called Bono Bus and it’s a previous paid bus card where the amount of money is deducted gradually on every trip you make, until you finish the amount previously paid.

The price of the bono bus is 15 € or 25 €, depending on the amount of money that you want to spend travelling. You can use the same Bono-bus for two or more people. How does it work? There is a device on the bus for inserting the card. Enter it and tell the driver where you want to go.  The driver will do the rest.  You can buy this bono bus card in bus stations, some supermarket or shops. We remind you that you have a period of one year to consume the amount of money of your bonus bus.
